On Pointe

Wonderful piece, I love how the pointe shoes are in focus and the rest is slightly blurred. Great choice of model as well. I love the black and white really sets up your use of contrast well. The only really criticism that I have, despite your shot being magnificent, is that it has been done quite a lot before. Though your excellent photographic skills and editing skills have pulled the photograph through that hitch to create a quite striking artwork. It looks like the kind of thing that would be displayed in a gallery or on the wall of a dance school.
